Lightning Voice — Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Lightning Voice is published by ZeroOrdinal. Privacy contact: zeroordinal@gmail.com.

2. Overview

Lightning Voice is a voice-reminder application designed so that your reminders and voice notes remain on your device. The App does not require an account with us and does not provide a ZeroOrdinal cloud service that stores or syncs your voice notes or reminder lists.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use the App for cross-app advertising tracking.
• The microphone is used only when you choose to record a voice note.
• In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription status.

3. Information We Process

3.1 Information stored on your device — the App stores information locally on your device, which may include:

• Reminder content you create (such as titles, notes, scheduled times, repeat settings, and related preferences)
• Voice note audio files you record in the App
• History of reminders you have handled or missed, as shown in the App
• App settings (for example appearance preferences and auto-play settings)
• Technical identifiers needed to schedule the local notifications you enable

Where required for widgets or app extensions, limited data may be shared with the App’s own App Group on the same device only.

We do not upload your voice recordings or reminder content to ZeroOrdinal servers as part of the App’s normal operation. If you delete the App or erase device data without your own backup, this local content may be permanently lost.

3.2 Permissions — Microphone: the App accesses the microphone only when you start a recording so you can attach a spoken note to a reminder. The App does not continuously listen in the background for the purpose of recording. Core product features do not upload your recordings to our servers.

Notifications: the App uses local notifications to alert you at times you schedule. Notification content is generated on your device (for example, a reminder title). Whether you receive alerts depends on system settings, including notification permission, Focus modes, the mute switch, and Low Power Mode. Local notifications are not guaranteed to behave like a system alarm.

3.3 Purchase and subscription information — if you purchase Lightning Pro or restore purchases:

Payments are processed by Apple under Apple’s terms and privacy practices. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We use RevenueCat to verify and manage subscription and entitlement status (for example, whether Lightning Pro is active). RevenueCat may process purchase-related identifiers and technical information as described in its privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple’s privacy policy is available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

3.4 Technical and diagnostic data — we do not operate a separate advertising or cross-app tracking SDK in the App for advertising purposes. Apple and related system services may process limited technical or diagnostic information under their own policies (for example, optional crash reports you choose to share with Apple). We do not use such information to build advertising profiles about you within the App.

4. How We Use Information

• Provide and operate App features, including creating reminders, recording and playing voice notes, scheduling local notifications, showing history, and powering widgets
• Deliver paid features you purchase
• Maintain security, integrity, and reliability of the App
• Respond to support requests you send us
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our rights where required

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers that help us deliver purchases and entitlements, including Apple and RevenueCat, subject to their policies
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, where permitted by law, in which case you may be notified as required

We do not share your on-device voice recordings with third parties as part of the normal operation of the App.

6. Data Retention

Reminder content and voice notes stored on your device remain until you delete them in the App, delete the App, or otherwise clear device storage. Purchase and entitlement records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies and as reasonably necessary to provide your subscription and prevent fraud.

7. Security

We design the App so that primary content remains on your device. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Please protect your device with a passcode or biometric lock and keep your operating system updated.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, or under the minimum age required by law in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. If you believe a child has provided information to us through our support email, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it where applicable.

9. International Users

The App may be used outside the United States. Content you create is stored on your device. Service providers such as Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase-related information in other countries as described in their respective privacy policies.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain processing, subject to applicable law.

Because most App content is stored only on your device, the primary ways to delete it are: delete individual reminders or recordings within the App, or delete the App from your device.

To manage or cancel a subscription, use iOS Settings under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, or contact Apple Support. For privacy requests regarding information we may hold through support correspondence or purchase tooling, email zeroordinal@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request before responding.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or rely on third-party services (including Apple and RevenueCat). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
